Genkina Ko, Montessori offers families a respectful service which aims to provide support for their child(ren)'s holistic development: socially, emotionally, linguistically, cognitively, physically and spiritually, so they can thrive both now and in the future.
Based in Durham, Genkina Ko, Montessori takes a Montessori approach in combination with an in-depth knowledge of child development and up-to-date research. The overall objective is to promote flourishing by empowering parents so they can best support their child during his/her early learning and developmental journey. The holistic approach taken appreciates the whole child within the whole family.
Services include:
* Parent Consultations and mentoring on topic of your choosing including: the new born; integrating the Montessori philosophy into your home; preparing your home to best support development; toys/activities; language and behaviour, early literacy, physical development.
* Workshops : for groups on supporting early language/literacy in the home.
